E-Mobility: DCDC and SCAP ECU
This project involved configuring an AUTOSAR stack for a DC-DC converter ECU and a super-capacitor charger ECU that were to be part of an electric anti-roll system. This project was made challenging by the fact that the client that needed to develop these ECUs had no in-house team with AUTOSAR experience, and the software for both the ECUs had to be developed and delivered to a UK automotive OEM in nine months. Crevavi deployed their team of experienced engineers for this project, and this team configured the AUTOSAR stack for the DCDC and SCAP application software and delivered the software to the client on time.
The project scope included the configuration and integration of the OS, MCAL, BswM and RTE components as well as the configuration and implementation of the diagnostics, network-based sleep and wakeup functions and the design and implementation of complex driver components to sense the values of the super-capacitor cell voltages and currents. The project also involved the design and implementation of the following application features:
Super capacitor cell balancing
Bidirectional DCDC current control
Fault detection and hazard management
Functional validation
End-to-end system testing for series production
