E-mobility: HV On-board Charger ECU

For a Japanese Tier-1, our taskforce demonstrated key competencies in HV OBC ECU software development on STM SPC58x multicore, mixed-ASIL microcontrollers. We analyzed and optimized the AUTOSAR BSW and MCAL stack, profiling startup, shutdown, communication (CAN-FD, LIN, Ethernet), OS applications, and memory usage. By implementing CPU function safety drivers (ISO 26262 ASIL-C) and managing MCAL updates, we reduced CPU load from 95% to ~82%, optimized memory for new features, and improved system run-up speed using native MCU capabilities—enhancing reliability and performance for production readiness.

E-Mobility: DCDC and SCAP ECU

“Crevavi configured AUTOSAR stacks for a DC-DC converter ECU and a super-capacitor charger ECU, key parts of an electric anti-roll system. With no in-house AUTOSAR expertise at the client, our team delivered both ECUs to a UK OEM within nine months. The scope covered OS, MCAL, BswM, RTE integration, diagnostics, network sleep/wakeup, and complex drivers for super-capacitor sensing. Application-level features were also designed and implemented, ensuring robust and on-time delivery.

Boot-loaders for AURIX TC2XX controllers

Crevavi developed bootloaders for multiple ECUs based on AURIX TC2XX controllers across various vehicle transmission types. The project integrated components like Vector CAN stack, Infineon EB Tresos MCAL, and in-house implementations of ISO-14229 UDS services and XCP flash-loader. It also included NVM/OTP memory configuration for end-of-line testing and support for ODX flashing—delivering a seamless and reliable flashing solution.

CAN to Bluetooth for ODBII

Crevavi has developed in-house IPs including Blue-Port, a CAN-to-Bluetooth OBD II diagnostic adapter with proprietary OBDII/CAN TP stack, Android app, and scalable HW/SW in a sleek form factor; and UDS-Immobilizer, an ECU software solution featuring UDS ISO 14229, CAN TP 15765, flash loader, and MISRA-compliant C code. These portable, configurable, and modular products offer OEMs state-of-the-art solutions at economic cost, with flexibility to adapt features quickly and support diverse automotive platforms.

Develop MCAL IO drivers for Renesas family

Crevavi developed IO drivers for the Renesas RH850 controller under a high-pressure, escalated project between the silicon vendor and OEM. Despite the controller being newly launched and the team starting without prior experience, series-grade software was delivered in just 4 months. The scope included SCAP and DCDC ECUs for an Active Anti-roll system, with AUTOSAR-like ADC, PWM, I2C, RTC, WDT, SOUND, and DMA drivers. Designed to be scalable, portable, modular, and MISRA compliant, the solution accelerated instrument cluster development from concept to production in 5 months—enabling OEMs to meet demanding TTM goals with a robust, reusable IO platform.
