Fleet management platform
In collaboration with Intel, Crevavi developed a proof-of-concept fleet management platform that provided a single solution integrating fleet management, telematics and ADAS. The FMS unit uplinks GPS location information as well as vehicle data read from the OBD II port to the cloud, from where this information can be accessed, processed and displayed as required by a cloud-based application.
A few salient features of this platform are:
- An edge device with integrated edge processing for FMS
- Interface with an ADAS processor for ADAS event recognition
- Hardware platform based on the 3rd Generation Intel® Atom™ / Celeron® processor and running the Linux operating system
- Connects to the internet via GPRS through a cellular modem
- Integrated GNSS for navigation
- OBD II connection for vehicle sensor information and Telematics
- On-device processing for FMS data, ADAS events, driver monitoring and driving pattern detection
- AWS Cloud interface
- Cloud application developed using Java to aggregate and display the sensor information obtained from the FMS edge device
